“Mish - The Faerie Twin”, 7” Victorian Faerie Ornament Outfit E-Pattern - Victorian - Porcelain Series
Pattern Category - Skill Level - Beginner
"Manda - The Faerie Twin" and her twin sister, "Mish - The Faerie Twin" couldn't be any different. Now we could go into all their differences - suffice to say that one is a bit of a "wild child" while the other is much quieter.
While their behavior might be different they are very much "twins" in their likes and dislikes when it comes to clothing. They both like pretty, dainty dresses and both wanted to have a Victorian dress for their outfit. The lacier and frill - the better.
"Mish - The Faerie Twin" is a 7" Victorian porcelain faerie doll ornament. Her body was made from Mengelsen's Doll Torso #171-32 kit and her 1 1/2" porcelain head, arms, and legs were from Midwest Designs Imports.
She is wearing lace trimmed bloomers that are gathered at the waist and knees. Her Victorian dress has a lace trimmed and lined front panel insert with eyelet lace overlay. Her sleeves are lace trimmed and gathered at the shoulders and her dress is gathered at the waist. The bottom of her dress has 2 layers of lace trim and her dress is gathered at the neck and lace trimmed. Her shawl is lined with eyelet lace overlay and is wrapped around her shoulders and cross fastened on the front with a silver ribbon bow.
Mish's wings are 5 1/2" x 1 1/4" Puffy Fairy wings.
"Manda and Mish" are as close as "twins" can be and have a secret "fairy" language all unto their own. So, they're not about to tell you who is the "wild" twin and who is the "quieter" twin.
Can you guess which is which?
Note: The porcelain head, hands, and legs that are pictured for both are from Midwest Design Imports. You can use any 1 1/2" porcelain head to make the doll as long as the head measures 1 1/2" from the bottom of the plate to the top of the head. Plus, the faerie bodies were made from Mengelsen's Doll Torso #171-32 kit.
